What materials are your jewellery pieces made from?
Stones
We feature GRA-certified moissanite, high-grade zircon, and carefully selected baroque and freshwater pearls. Each stone is chosen for its brilliance, clarity, and refined luminosity, offering the look and presence of fine jewellery through modern craftsmanship.
Jewellery Base
Our pieces are crafted using 925 sterling silver, jeweller’s brass, or 310 stainless steel. Selected for their strength, durability, and ability to maintain a flawless finish over time.
Plating
Each design is finished in 14k gold (1–1.5 microns for lasting wear), 14k white gold with a rhodium finish, or 925 sterling silver with a platinum finish. This generous micron thickness enhances longevity while delivering a rich, radiant glow that feels unmistakably refined.
Is your jewellery solid gold, gold-plated, or gold-filled?
Zestello pieces are crafted from high-quality base metals including 925 sterling silver, jeweller’s brass, or stainless steel, and finished in 14k gold (1–1.5 microns), 14k white gold with rhodium, or platinum plating.
We intentionally use premium plating to achieve the rich look and feel of fine jewellery, while offering modern luxury at an accessible level. Our 1–1.5 micron gold finish provides a more substantial layer than standard fashion jewellery, ensuring enhanced longevity with proper care.
How do I clean my jewellery safely?
Gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth after wear to remove natural oils. For a deeper clean, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing agents.
What causes jewellery to tarnish?
Tarnishing can be influenced by moisture, humidity, skin pH, perfumes, chemicals and environmental exposure. Proper care and storage significantly extend the life and radiance of plated jewellery. For long lasting wear, we recommend removing jewellery before showering, entering the ocean or pool.
Is your jewellery waterproof?
Our pieces are not designed for prolonged water exposure. While occasional contact may not immediately damage your jewellery, we recommend removing it before showering, swimming, or exercising to preserve its finish.
Can I wear your jewellery in the shower or while swimming?
To maintain the radiance of your pieces, we advise removing jewellery before showering or swimming. Exposure to water, chlorine, salt, and soaps can gradually affect plating and stone settings.
Is your jewellery hypoallergenic?
Zestello pieces are thoughtfully crafted using 925 sterling silver, stainless steel, or jeweller’s brass, and are finished in precious metal plating. Many of our designs are suitable for sensitive skin, particularly those crafted in sterling silver or stainless steel.
While reactions are rare, sensitivity can vary from person to person. We recommend reviewing the materials listed on each product page if you have known allergies, and opting for sterling silver or stainless steel bases for added peace of mind.
Does your jewellery contain nickel?
All of our pieces are nickel-free. Specific material details can be found within each product description for complete transparency.
What type of gemstones do you use?

Are your stones natural or lab-grown?
Our moissanite stones are lab-created and GRA-certified, offering exceptional brilliance and fire with the durability expected of fine jewellery.
Our zircon stones are premium simulated gemstones, chosen for their clarity, luminosity, and refined sparkle. They are carefully cut and set to achieve a polished, high-jewellery finish.
Our baroque and freshwater pearls are genuine cultured pearls, each with its own natural variation in shape and lustre. Their organic character is what makes every piece subtly unique.
What is a GRA certificate?
A GRA certificate is an authenticity report issued by the Gemological Research Association for certain lab-created stones, such as moissanite diamonds. It verifies the stone’s cut, clarity, and quality grading, offering reassurance of its brilliance and craftsmanship.
Each item that contains a moissanite diamond will come with the GRA Certificate.

How do I measure my wrist for a bracelet?
Using a soft measuring tape, wrap it gently around your wrist where you would naturally wear your bracelet. Add 1–2cm for comfort, depending on whether you prefer a tailored or relaxed fit.
What necklace length should I choose?

How should I care for my jewellery?
To preserve its brilliance, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals. Apply fragrance and lotions, letting it dry before putting on your jewellery, and remove pieces before showering, swimming, or exercising.
How should I store my jewellery?
Store your pieces in a dry, cool place, ideally in their original Zestello box, to minimise exposure to air and moisture. Keeping items separate will help prevent scratches and tangling.
How do I clean my jewellery safely?
Proper care keeps your Zestello pieces looking radiant and ensures they last beautifully. Cleaning recommendations differ slightly depending on the material:
Sterling Silver
- Gently wipe your sterling silver jewellery with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to remove natural oils and prevent tarnish.
- For a deeper clean, use a silver polishing cloth or a slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately.
- Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can scratch the surface or damage delicate stones.
Gold Jewellery
- Wipe your gold-plated pieces gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing to maintain the richness of the finish.
- If needed, lightly dampen a cloth to remove surface dirt, then dry immediately.
- Avoid soaking, scrubbing, or using chemicals, as this can wear away the gold layer over time.
- Store plated pieces separately in a pouch or box to prevent rubbing against other jewellery.

Orders & Shipping
How long does shipping take?
All Zestello orders are carefully processed within 24–48 hours. Delivery times depend on your chosen shipping method and location:
- Standard shipping: Typically 5–8 business days
- Express shipping: Typically 1–4 business days
Please note that during peak periods, such as Christmas or major holidays, shipping times may be extended. All orders are dispatched via Australia Post, and exact delivery times will be confirmed at checkout based on your selection.
We take care to ensure your jewellery arrives beautifully packaged and ready to delight, as quickly as possible.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately, our we only ship to locations in Australia.
Do you offer express shipping?
We offer free express shipping on orders of $80 or more. If your order is less than $80, express shipping can be added at checkout for a small cost of $13.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to amend or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. While we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed, we will always do our best to assist.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details so you can follow its journey to you.
Returns, Warranty & Gifting
What is your return policy?
We accept returns for store credit on eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order, provided they are unworn, in its original condition and returned in the original packaging.
Returned items must be in satisfactory condition; items that are damaged or show signs of wear will not be accepted.
* Please note that any discounted/sale items and all earrings (due to hygiene and safety) are unable to be returned. Please ensure you choose your items carefully.

Do you offer warranty or repairs?
Warranty
We guarantee your jewellery pieces to be free of any manufacturing defect for one year from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover general wear, damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect or failed repair attempts. The warranty does not cover purchases made using online auction sites or other unauthorised resellers.
Lifetime warranty on all GRA-certified moissanite jewellery.
All moissanite diamond jewellery comes with lifetime warranty on its GRA Certificate. This covers manufacturing defects, including loose stones or metal faults. Accidental damage or wear and tear is not included in this warranty.
Repairs
Unfortunately, we do not offer repairs.
Does the jewellery come in gift packaging?
Every Zestello piece is presented in either 1 or 2 signature jewellery boxes, refined, elegant, and ready to gift. Whether for yourself or someone special, your order arrives beautifully prepared.
If you are a bride and need them in individual jewellery boxes, please note in the 'Order special instructions' section in your cart, before checkout.
